Privacy

The email form stores a subscriber row: email address, product slug if you asked about one product, category if you asked about a category, the page path you submitted from, the time, a hash of the IP address, and a confirmed flag that stays off. The raw IP address is not stored. The same address and product are updated in place if you submit twice.

A hidden company-website field is a honeypot. Submissions that fill it are rejected. Repeated submissions from one network are rate limited. If a webhook URL is configured on the server, the same signup is also sent there so it can be connected to an email tool later. If Turnstile keys are configured, the form asks Cloudflare to check the submission.

We use the address for Black Friday deal alerts. There is no separate marketing list on this site.

Unsubscribe

Submit the address here and it is deleted from the subscriber database. The confirmation page is what you see after a normal signup when JavaScript is off.
