01

How deep were the 2025 discounts?

The typical 2025 offer sat right at half price. 104 of 189 deals that state a percentage were 50% or more, and 48 reached 70% or more. 81 of them were “up to” offers, so the headline figure is a ceiling that applies to some plans, not all.

Takeaway: Hosting & Infrastructure and VPN & Security went deepest, with a median of 75% each. E-commerce sat lowest at a median of 30%.

02

When sales started, and when they ended

Most sales opened late. 99 of the 147 deals with a recorded start date began in the two weeks around Black Friday, and 26 (18%) were early birds that opened before Nov 10. 137 of 189 (72%) ended between Cyber Monday and Friday, December 5.

2023, 2024 and 2025 side by side

The database holds 71 deals for 2023, 95 for 2024 and 226 for 2025. That growth reflects how much has been researched for each year, not how many sales the market ran, so the comparison below uses rates and medians and leaves raw counts out.

What to expect in Black Friday 2026

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, one day earlier on the calendar than 2025, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30, 2026. These expectations come from the patterns above. They are not announcements: no vendor has confirmed a 2026 offer yet, and this site marks a deal live only when its 2026 offer is on sale.

  1. 1

    A late, crowded window

In 2025, 67% of dated sales opened in the last two weeks before Black Friday. For 2026 that points to Nov 16–22 and the week of Nov 23. Check the sale calendar for each tool’s usual start.

  2. 2

    Roughly half-price is the norm

The median 2025 discount was 50% and 55% of percentage deals were 50% or more. The median was 50% in 2023 and 40% in 2024.

  3. 3

Hosting & Infrastructure and VPN & Security lead on depth

Hosting & Infrastructure and VPN & Security had the deepest medians in 2025 (75% each). Browse those sets on the Hosting & Infrastructure and VPN & Security pages.

  4. 4

    Many tools run it back

Of 72 tools with a percentage in both of the last two years, 36 repeated their number exactly and 16 went deeper. Last year’s offer is the best guide to this year’s, which is why each tool page keeps it in its own year.

  5. 5

    Sales outlast Black Friday

72% of 2025 sales with an end date closed between Cyber Monday and December 5, and the median sale ran 15 days. In 2026, expect many to run through the first days of December.

  6. 6

    A few start early

26 sales (18%) opened before Nov 10 in 2025. The same tools are the ones to watch in October and early November 2026.
